Staying at the caravan site nearby, and thought we would have a look while walking the dog. Sadly we searched high and low, not helped by Bob who was all over the place thanks to the trees so could not get a definate GZ. Decided that it could not be in need of climbing trees due to the rating and the clue told us not to look 'there'.....so as bored children were wandering off at this point we abandoned the search.

A thoroughly enjoyable cache. We had fun exploring the museum and this cache helped us reach all corners and leave no stone unturned. Thankful for the hint as when we got to GZ there were muggles on the bench. Braved it and spoke to one of the staff, and luckily he knew what it was about and rightly tested me to check that we had been round the museum :). Afterwards we chatted a little more to the member of staff about the cache and caching in general. A great find, and also a great size cache in the middle of London.

Well we had a good hunt....found a film pot lid, and a nice hidey spot, but sadly no cache. So either it was coincidence and we had a basic dnf or the cache has gone awol.....

Had tried this one before, but did not like to poke in the garden. Passing again, we thought we would stop again for afternoon tea. So delicious, glad we did. Stopped here to stretch our legs. The boys knew there was a cache here and set about looking for it before Bob was warmed up. Master S Jnr wandered off down the path and said, 'I think I found it!'. Indeed he had, a very proud boy who had just found our first Welsh geocache.

This cache had out foxed Mr and Mrs S when they had done the OHT recently. We had spent ages looking for it. Well we were in the vicinity for the meet, and could not resist one more look despite the rain. We took Micro Sniffer with us, and as per his name when at GZ he practically went straight to it!!!! And it was where we had looked before (we believe). Anyhow........it is found, phew!

A tip off from a fellow camper for this one, and we decided to have a wander. Met other creeping out of the bushes as we approached with a knowing smile and laugh. Found GZ without much help from Bob. Found a dead end hidey hole, and then the cache itself. Got Master S Jnr to close his eyes and smell the cache and to tell us what it was----he guessed it. Great container .... signed log and crept out of the bushes as more came in with a knowing smile.

Mrs S stayed at the tent for a rest, and Mr S and the boys went off to search for this one. Was a hilarious one for us as the sat nav is set to moo at caches on our route......so when approaching the site the sat nav moo'd.....very apt. With a little lateral thinking Mr S soon had the cache in hand.

Arrived to set upon the Friday and then 'popped' home to collect the boys. We had an excellent weekend despite the soggy end to it. Great to meet new and old friends alike. The boys loved the event as they had lots of people to play with and could stay up late. That is not to mention toasting the marshmallows and also the goodies from TMWH (Thanks). Returned home very tired but very happy campers, here's to the next.

Visited GZ and inspected said planking, and got the numbers....made an exit as the police had just pulled up....interested in the house nearby not us. Numbers crunched and Bob said that the cache was practically back near where we had pitched. So Mr S went to grab the cache for the team while Mrs S did the important job of getting the ice creams in. Mr S called out when at GZ and yes he was a few hundred yards from where we were pitched!
